KEYS FROM HEAVEN

My Dream: On 7/7/24 I dreamed I was holding a large set of keys. I remember looking at them and thinking about the ones I knew what they were for, but there were so many I did not know what they went to. There was one key that stuck out to me, and it had a black top and I needed to get a duplicate made of this key to give to someone that needed it.  I recognized this key as the key to the gate at my work. I WOKE UP.

Gate in dreams can mean; The gate of Heaven, heart, access, barrier [a closed gate], opportunity [an open gate], power, authority

In scripture a gate is a place where the government, the decision makers. would come. To the gate of the city.

As I was praying about what the Lord wanted me to speak about, the Lord brought that dream to me. As I was thinking about it, there are so many keys that you and I have been given and we have them, but we don’t know that we have them, or we just do not use them.

God is so big that in my lifetime there has been only a few I have used so far to open doors for me, or to close and lock doors that I need to leave behind.

I know I have missed many opportunities to open doors because I don’t remember what I have been given.

I believe as we get these keys, we do duplicate them so we can give them to others. I certainly want to duplicate the key to heaven so many can enter.

I love to wear my key and cross jewelry because the key to everything is found at the cross.

So, what are keys? What do they represent?

Keys open doors and keys lock doors. When we hand one of our keys to someone it gives them power and authority in place of us.

If I gave you a key to the church, that would show my trust in you with the things of the church.

If I gave you a key to my car to use it, that would show you a different relationship we had. I trust you to drive my personal car safely.

If I gave you a key to my house that too would be even a different type of relationship. It would be saying I have a lot of trust in you.

When you have a key to the church, you can come into the church and feel very comfortable being here because you have been given a key.

If you are driving my car and you get stopped by a police officer there is no fear of being arrested for stealing my car. You have been given a key by me.

When we know we have been given a key it brings peace and comfort in using it to open and close and lock doors. It gives us power and authority.

Well, our Father in Heaven has given us keys to use on this earth.

The Lord started speaking to me about KEYS in November 2007.

Every little while He would speak to me and give me a nugget to live by and end with, “This is a key for you.”

I would write down each key in my journal. I ended with 25 key phrases to live by so far.

I will be speaking for the next few weeks on these keys, if you have not been with us, I encourage you to go and listen to them.

When having my dream recently it brought to my memory these keys the Lord gave me on how to live my life for Him.

How to handle the different challenges I would face in my life.

I have passed many tests because of these keys, and I have failed many tests for not using these keys.

As I was reviewing each one it reminded me how many I have forgotten. How many I have not turned to in circumstances that would have helped me so much to be an overcomer.

I want to encourage you today to use the keys God has given us in His Word to live a life with power and authority in knowing who Jesus is and what His instructions are to be more than conquerors!
